Three ways good firms lose ground to weaker ones.

You're likely reading this because the usual tactical fixes have stopped working. Your firm has the capability and the market history, but growth has flatlined.

At this scale, failure doesn't surface in just one quarter or department; instead, it often drifts across them. Sales is executing one strategy, marketing is pushing another, and operations is bracing for a third. Every monthly review points at the same problems, and the only solution management offers is just to 'push harder'.

These aren't just isolated bottlenecks waiting for a quick patch. They live in the gaps where your business should be connected, and they will keep compounding until someone maps the entire commercial machine.

Lost in translation

Your commercial system reflects effort, not value.

Engineering scopes the technical reality, marketing waters it down into corporate jargon, and sales panics and drops the price.

Your true technical advantage never carries across as a meaningful reason for a buyer to choose you over rivals.

The black hole

You lack an integrated system to reliably carry a buyer to 'yes'.

Warm leads drop in, and proposals get fired off, but nothing guides the buyer through the critical middle steps.

Without rigorous systems or CRM tracking, deals don't end in a clear 'no thanks'; they just stall out indefinitely.

Poor framing

Your competitors' story is market-focused and easier to buy.

By leading your pitches with generic features and company history, you allow the market to write you off as a commodity.

Inferior rivals step in and set the rules of engagement. You end up competing on their terms, losing contracts your firm is built to win.

These three failures don't run in parallel. They compound into one.

Revenue fractures when marketing, sales, and operations operate in silos. Marketing generates demand that sales ignores. Sales chases contracts that operations struggles to deliver. Operations builds an advantage that marketing can't articulate.

Months and years later, you aren't running a single, unified commercial system; you are running three competing ones. Any roadmap built on the assumption that these departments will eventually just figure it out and align later only widens the crack.

Get a twelve-month commercial roadmap your exec team can plan against.

Atlas is a phased, twelve-month roadmap structured around quarterly reviews.

Starts from A$26,000, tailored to your goals.

A 12-month roadmap for your commercial system.

Six diagnostic audits. Full executive alignment. One actionable 12-month roadmap.

This isn't another strategy deck built to gather dust. Atlas is a program designed pinpoint where your commercial engine falters and deliver a comprehensive plan to fix it. Every initiative comes with owners, timelines, KPIs, and suggested budget bands.

Display tangible value

Turn the hard work you do into reasons people want to buy.

Atlas bridges the gap between the shop floor and your sales pitch.

Working with your engineering leads and BDMs, I translate what you build into terms the customer cares about: dollars saved, lower downtime, clear results. 'Better' stops being the pitch. Value does.

Keep leads moving

Build the system that carries a lead past proposal to 'won'.

Atlas designs the follow-up system so a lead never just drops dead.

Working with your sales and marketing teams, I map the exact stages, sequences, and touchpoints that keep a buyer engaged from first handshake to firm yes or no. Post-proposal 'ghosting' ends.

Set the bar higher

Make the market assess your rivals by your benchmark.

Atlas anchors your marketing & sales pitch to your customer's biggest headaches.

Working with your exec team, we define your ideal customer, what corner of the market you will own and what drives your buyers to say yes more often. You set the rules, not a weaker rival.

Zero lock-in. The strategy is yours from day one.

Once this commercial asset lands with your exec team, everything in it is yours. The plan, the diagnostics, the positioning brief, the messaging framework, all of it.

You can hand the elements to your internal team and execute it in-house. You can pass it to your existing contractors and have them work from the plan. Or you can engage me via Foundry to build the systems the plan defines.

Want more details? How does this run?

Atlas runs a 6-to-8-week diagnostic-and-alignment phase before the roadmap ships. Nothing is invoiced until confirmed it is right for you.

Is the B2B marketing roadmap right for you?

The Atlas B2B marketing roadmap is designed for established firms at a strategic inflection point: your capability is proven and the market is open, but your medium-to-long-term picture isn't compounding. If you need to lock in a comprehensive strategy for the year ahead, you're in the right place.

Looking for something else? Here are your other options:

  • If you need a rapid tactical fix: If your challenge is narrower than a twelve-month picture (a single commercial leak or one specific part of your system), NorthStar is a better fit. It delivers a two-part audit and a 90-day plan you can run this quarter, from A$5,760.
  • If you need your strategy built: If you already have a defined roadmap and need a team to build the assets to a fixed scope, you are looking for Foundry.
  • If you need standalone execution: For individual tactical needs (ads, LinkedIn management, website development, or an upcoming tender) without ongoing management, reach out via the contact page.

Who runs Atlas?

When you hire Atlas, you deal directly with me from start to finish. There are no account managers, no subcontractors, and no junior staff learning the ropes on your budget.

I bring 20 years of B2B experience across both sales management and marketing. With an MBA and a deep background in the industrial sector, I look at business challenges like an operator, not a typical agency.

A few notable achievements:

  • Developed and produced over $700M in multi-million dollar tender submissions and proposals.
  • Delivered a 22:1 return on marketing investment (ROMI) in signed contracts, while also generating approximately $70 million in attributable pipeline within 12 months.
  • Built the digital rebrand and go-to-market programme that scaled a mining services firm from $100M to $240M (pre- and post-acquisition).
  • Proven success in delivering B2B marketing results across multiple sectors, including mining, engineering, civil construction, and technology firms.

To better understand the mechanics of the engagement (from the initial fit call to the quarterly reviews), expand the panel below to see exactly how it runs.

The full 8-step engagement process
  • Submit the form. No payment, zero commitment at this stage.
  • I send the Atlas Overview within one business day, with a link to book a 30-minute fit call.
  • On the call, we confirm fit and scope stakeholder count and complexity.
  • If we're aligned, I send the scoping proposal (fixed price, timeline, 40% deposit) and the intake pack.
  • Work begins once your deposit clears and the intake pack is fully returned. Six to eight weeks across six audits, stakeholder interviews, exec workshop, and sales-marketing alignment.
  • At completion (circa week 6-8), I walk your exec team through the twelve-month roadmap live. At the end of that session, I forward a 45% invoice.
  • Once the invoice clears, you receive the full package: roadmap document, gantt-chart, positioning brief, messaging framework and reference docs.
  • Quarterly reviews across the following twelve months. Before each 2-3hr review, I send a one-page progress report against the Gantt: planned vs actual, gaps named. Invoiced at 3.75% of the engagement fee.

Atlas is the plan, not the build

Atlas produces the twelve-month roadmap and hands it over to you. Delivery is not part of the engagement, by design. You have three routes for execution: your internal team, your existing contractors, or via Foundry (my Phase 2 build product, scoped separately). The choice sits with you.

The separation keeps the plan matched to your commercial goals, not to what I can build.

FAQs

Here are a range of more commonly asked questions in relation to the B2B marketing products and systems I provide.

To get a full run-down of how I can help your business thrive, take a moment to book a call.

What is Atlas?

Atlas is a bundled B2B marketing product built for industrial and mining firms. Delivered personally by me, it includes a comprehensive six-audit diagnostic, executive alignment, and a 12-month strategic roadmap.

It answers the overarching question: "What does our commercial system need to look like 12 months from now, and how do we get there sequentially and affordably?"

The roadmap is structured around quarterly reviews and is specifically designed for firms at a strategic inflection point where your capability is proven and the market is open, but long-term growth is not yet compounding.

What does the six-audit diagnostic cover?

These six diagnostic audits take a forensic look across your entire commercial system to identify where strong firms lose ground to weaker competitors.

The findings are synthesised into:

  • A comprehensive positioning brief.
  • A robust messaging framework.
  • Reference documents that anchor the 12-month roadmap.

The output is executive-grade, written to withstand scrutiny from a board or an investment committee. In parallel, we run sales-and-marketing alignment work, because assuming departments will simply 'figure it out' later only widens operational gaps.

What do I receive at the end?

You receive the complete commercial architecture package for your firm's next 12 months:

  • The strategic roadmap document, phased quarterly with designated owners, dependencies, KPIs, and clear budget bands.
  • An execution Gantt chart.
  • The positioning brief and messaging framework.
  • All supporting reference documents.

Once presented to your executive team, every asset is yours to keep, share, and execute, independently or with me.

How long does Atlas take, and how much does it cost?

  • Timeline: The diagnostic-and-alignment phase runs for 6 to 8 weeks. The 12-month roadmap is delivered at the end of this phase to guide your next year of operations.
  • Pricing: From A$26,000.

The baseline price covers a standard scope. Broad product portfolios, multiple business units, or extensive stakeholder interview lists can alter the final cost. You will receive a fixed quote upfront, protecting you from inflating variables.

Does the Atlas fee credit toward Foundry or Refine?

No. Atlas is a standalone strategic product priced on its own merits. If you transition into Foundry (project delivery against the roadmap) or Refine (ongoing management of the commercial system), those engagements are scoped and quoted separately.

The roadmap must prove its worth as an independent investment, not serve as a discount voucher for the next sale. This approach ensures you face no commercial pressure to continue if the best path forward is to hand the roadmap to an internal team or another vendor.
